Where can I use application object Web services?

Application object Web services can be used from anywhere to access data that you created. In Composer, you can use Web services to create meaningful user interface and process mashups. For example, a Web service can be added to a form and configured to be invoked on an action performed by a user. It is possible to invoke a Web service within a business process too.
