Volume 1, November 2008

Dear Guest,

Welcome to this first issue of Cordys Process Factory™ newsletter. In this newsletter we will provide you with the latest information about Cordys Process Factory™ and the exciting world of MashApps®

Cordys Process Factory Community™

On 1st of October 2008 we launched Cordys Process Factory™ and announced our public beta program. Once registered for a free TPF account, anyone can create business processes and process centric applications over the web. These MashApps® can be made in minutes at minimal costs, without any coding. Since it's official, more than 130 MashApps® have been successfully built using TPF. All those fantastic MashApps® are built by you.

We invite you to collaborate with other users and industry experts to realize the full potential of Mashup Applications on our Community site. This is a place where you can exchange knowledge and learn about best practices. It provides videos, samples and tutorials for both beginners and experts. The TPF Community also provides a support environment for TPF users through interactive forums monitored and managed by the community itself - you! - and engineers of Cordys Process Factory™. Product Update

Since the announcement of the beta program, the engineering team has been busy processing user feedback and improving the product accordingly. There are also quite a few exciting new features getting ready. We will upgrade the beta servers with the new release in the month of December. You will receive more information on this before the upgrade.

MashApps09

Another historic event is the kick off of MashApps09, a worldwide competition to create the most innovative MashApps® with commercial value. This Competition is an exciting opportunity for users worldwide to demonstrate business talent, technical skills, and creativity. We truly look forward to seeing many innovative solutions in the areas of BPM, Mashups, and Web services, build with our On Demand do-it-yourself application development platform.

The financial benefits and prestige earned in the MashApps® competition will be significant. All participants will benefit from the publicity, the feedback from industry experts, and education in a new technology for building valuable MashApps® for day-to-day business operations. This great Competition will run one year with a special awards ceremony to be held at Cordys’ Headquarters “Kasteel de Vanenburg” in Putten, The Netherlands, in September 2009. Read more

TPF and Universities

TPF and Universities

What makes the competition unique is that it has been incorporated into various University Programs in The Netherlands and India. We provide students with a special opportunity to gain hands-on experience with latest collaborative technologies and compete for great prizes.

In order to equip students with a thorough understanding of developing process-centric Web-based applications, the Radboud University Nijmegen has chosen to use TPF as teaching and learning tool for ICT education. Read more
