What are Mashup Applications

Cordys Process Factory enables business users to create, run, and manage On-Demand process-centric Mashup Applications, called MashApps^®. A Mashup Application is available On Demand. Users can combine capabilities from two or more existing systems to build a value added single Mashup Application. Cordys Process Factory supports three types of mashups, namely data mashup, user interface mashup, and process mashup.

The MashApps^® development process starts with the online subscription to Cordys Process Factory. New Mashup Applications can be quickly and easily assembled from an existing repository of reusable mashup components (e.g. Process Library, external Web Services Repository, Widget Repository). The nontechnical business manager can drag and drop any UI widget (like Google Gadgets) and Web services from the web to quickly build and deploy Mashup applications. Integrations with third party applications, bothon-premise and on-demand systems, can be modeled without much dependency on the IT team.
